Minister for Agriculture, Chief Audu Ogbeh, has assured of the Federal government’s readiness to partner with the states towards enhancing agricultural productivity.
Chief Ogbeh stated this, on Tuesday, during an inspection tour by the Presidential Task Force on Agriculture to Ogun State.

The Minister who expressed delight with the different initiatives of the Ogun State government in the area of agriculture, said the President Muhammadu Buhari-led administration is ready to support the state government.
The Task Force were taken on the tour of various agricultural sites by HE Sen Ibikunle Amosun including the Eriwe Fish Farm settlement in Odogbolu Local government Area of Ogun State.
Speaking in the same vein, Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Mr. Godwin Emefiele, urged farmers in Ogun State to continue to organise themselves properly. The CBN governor said by organising themselves into cooperative societies, the farmers will stand a better chance of getting the needed financial assistance.
On his part, Chairman of the Presidential Task Force on Agriculture and the Governor of Kebbi State, Senator Atiku Bagudu, commended the Ogun State Government for focussing fully on Agriculture just like what had been done in the Infrastructural sector.
The Ogun State Governor, Senator Ibikunle Amosun, appreciated the federal government for supporting agriculture, adding that this is one sector that is capable of driving the economy out of recession.
