Nigeria Defence Minister, Mr. Mansur Dan Ali and his South African counterpart, Mrs Nosiviwe Mapisa-Nqakula met yesterday, to strengthen defence relations between the two countries.
The collaboration which they said will involve arms trade, will go a long way in tackling the security challenge in Nigeria.
The Nigerian Minister for Defence, Mr Mansur Dan Ali described the collaboration as a very good thing. He further said, South Africa is coming to help in the development of the Defence Industrial co-operation.
Nigeria and South Africa had signed a Memorandum of Understanding in 2013, in the areas of trading, research and development of military personnel.
