Chisom Egbuchulam was the hero as Nigerian Champions Enugu Rangers got their super 4 campaign off to a 2-0 success over Rivers United at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium.
Egbuchulam put the flying antelopes ahead in the 65th minute and added the second nine minutes later.
He skimmed past Olalekan Gabriel before letting fly as his effort came off the underside of the post and into the net leaving Rotimi helpless.

Wikki Tourists rallied back from a goal down to beat FC Ifeanyi Ubah 2-1 in the opening fixture of the Nigeria Professional Football League super four competition at the Nnamdi Azikwe Stadium, on Wednesday.
Yaya Kone netted the opener for FC Ifeanyi Ubah from the spot in the 55th minute, while Shamah Tanze equalised for Wikki six minutes from time.
Abdullai Musa netted the winner in stoppage time for Mohammed Babaganaru’s men.
FC Ifeanyi Ubah will face rivers united in their next game on Friday 9th of December, 2016, while Wikki Tourists will take on league champions, Enugu Rangers the same day.
