The Senior Staff Association of Nigerian Universities has called on the Federal Government to extend its corruption fight to the University community.
This was part of the issues deliberated at the National Executive Council meeting of the Association held in Edo State.
The members commended various efforts by the Federal Government in ensuring stability in the Nation’s polity and solicited for more attention to all key sectors to enhance development.
They equally want state governors and institutions that have not paid salaries of University Staff to do so for industrial peace.
SSANU commended the Federal Government appointment of Heads of Parastatals, Commissions and Agency under the Federal Ministry of Education, describing the actions as a right step in the right direction.
