Jonathan at Laying of Wreath for Crash Victims

President Goodluck Jonathan says additional safe guards have been put in place to make the Nation’s airspace safer. He stated this in Abuja at the wreath laying ceremony and unveiling of a cenotaph in memory of the victims of the Dana Air crash of June last year in a suburb of Lagos.

President Jonathan noted that the event was a symbol of respect for the 153 on the aircraft and six others on the ground that lost their lives during the incident. Prayers were offered for the repose of the souls of the departed and well-being of those they left behind.
