The open system of administration adopted by President Goodluck Jonathan has accelerated the actualization of reforms embedded in the Transformation Agenda. The Minister of Information, Labaran Maku stated this in reference to the mid-term report presented by the Ministers of Aviation, Justice and Culture, Tourism and National Orientation at the ongoing 2013 Ministerial platform in Abuja.
In an overview of the Aviation sector, the Minister of Information said the reforms witnessed in the last two years have deployed the use of hi-tech practices in line with global standards.
He also said that Culture and Tourism have become tools for National Orientation and have evolved into a harvest kit for national cohesion.
For the Judicial sector headed by the man described as a Constitutional purist by the Minister of Information, Judicial processes have been fast tracked in the last two years, thereby saving the country huge sums of money while entrenching the rule of law.
The Ministerial platform continues in Abuja.
