The Progressive People’s Alliance, PPA is holding a mid-term convention to review the exodus of its members and the admission of new ones as well as change of name and party logo. The Chairman of the Progressive People’s Alliance Sam Nkire said this at the party’s headquarters in Abuja.
The Chairman said that the party has suffered great loss of two Governors; The one from Imo State, Ikedi Okakim and the one from Abia State, Theodore Orji.
On why the PPA is not in merger talks, the Chairman explained that the mid-term Convention is also to take stock of PPA’s performance from 2011 to 2013 particularly.
