The Nigerian Air Force is looking inward for home grown technology to fix some of its hardware and software, to move away from over dependence on Foreign patronage. To this end, the Nigerian Air Force is collaborating with Ivory Towers for expertise to move to the next level.
The collaboration between the Nigerian Air Force and some Universities and allied research agencies is anchored on the desire to transform the service into a formidable fighting force.
The Representatives of the various institutions who had earlier paid a courtesy call on the Chief of Air Staff before signing the memorandum of understanding put the areas of collaborations to grow local content initiatives technologically in proper perspective.
Meanwhile, the Nigerian Air Force has given cheques to the next of kin of the deceased Airmen and Women presided over by the Chief of Administration Air Vice Marshall Nicholas Spiff at the NAF Headquarters.
