As a result of unrelented operations of the Nigerian Armed Forces, more than seven hundred suspected Boko Haram members have surrendered.

Acting President Attends AU Summit
The annual summit of the African Union involving heads of state and governments is ongoing in Addis Ababa the Ethiopia capital.
Acting president Yemi Osinbajo arrived Addis Ababa in the early morning hours of today to attend the meeting which is holding on the 3rd and 4th of just 2017 .

Acting President Mourns Maitama Sule
Acting President Yemi Osinbajo has expressed deep sorrow over the passing away of Alhaji Maitama Sule.
In a tweet on his handle, Professor Osinbajo expressed deep and heartfelt condolences to the family, friends, associates and the government of Kano State.
Acting President who described the deceased as an orator, elder statesman and diplomat, prayed the almighty god to grant him eternal rest.
As the Federal Ministry of Environment approved the environmental impact assessment report for the construction of 276 kilometer super highway, Governor Ben Ayade has assured that funding of the project will not be a problem.
The governor gave the assurance while speaking with journalists in Calabar.
