Police Ready For Anambra Election

Key agencies concerned with the November 18 gubernatorial election in Anambra state have announced their preparedness for the exercise. the Independent National Electoral Commission,INEC and the Anambra state police command say all arrangements have been concluded to ensuring a hitch free and fair election.

President Muhammadu Buhari has described a former civilian governor of old Kaduna state ,Alhaji Abdulkadir Balarabe Musa as a man of unassailable integrity and untainted record of public servicethis was contained in a tribute to Balarabe Musa as he clocks 81. a statement by the senior special assistant to the president on media and publicity Garba Shehu, president Buhari recalled his closeness with Balarabe  Musa in the conference of Nigeria political parties where the  celebrate demonstrated as radical politician, committed to building strong opposition in the country  in order to deepen democracy. President Buhari urged other politicians; especially the younger generation to emulate Balarabe Musa’s life style both in politics and public  service.

For shooting of teenager, Kpansia Epie   community in Yenagoa local government of Bayelsa state has been in shock following the killing of a youth by a policeman. The policeman who resides in the same Neighborhood with the victim has been taken into custody by the Bayelsa state police command  pending outcome of investigations.

The Buhari media support group has expressed displeasure over the attack of the people democratic party on president Buhari led administration. A statement singed by the group chairman Austin Braimoh said the PDP’s reaction over the said reinstatement of Abdulrasheed Maina, former chairman  of pension reform task team is malicious.
