Corps Marshal Meets States Traffic Agencies
The federal road safety corps has advocated for the harmonization of road traffic offences to assist in the administration of justice and enhance national road users databank. corps marhal,boboye oyeyemi disclosed this in a meeting with states traffic agencies and 12 zonal commanding officers carnages on Nigerian roads in the past were unprecedented, prompting the FRSC to come up with strategies to check the situation. Corps Marshal Boboye Oyeyemi explained that states traffic management agencies have pivotal roles to play in actualizing these road safety strategies. He said the frequency of crashes in states without traffic management agencies as well as the number of people involved in road crashes in 2016 were higher than states that have traffic management agencies in operation.
