FG to Deploy 6,000 Additional Troops in Zamfara

Governor Bello Muhammad of Zamfara state has issued a two-month ultimatum to unrepentant bandits to embrace peace and lay down their arms as the federal government is set to deploy additional six thousand troops to the state.

In a State-wide broadcast on the fall out of his recent engagement with President Muhammadu Buhari on the prevailing Security Challenges in the State, the Governor announced new strong measures aimed at addressing the menace.
