Nigeria – US Infrastructure Mission

Nigeria is on the way to a rapid economic and industrial revolution when she finally fixes her power sector challenges. Leader of the Nigeria -US infrastructure trade mission Mimi Alemayehou said this at a meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs in Abuja.
The Nigeria -US Infrastructure Trade Delegation is in Nigeria to explore more collaborative partnerships since it considers Nigeria the largest emerging frontier of investment in Africa.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs urged the delegation to look into other sectors such as agriculture and manufacturing instead of oil and gas.
Meanwhile, the State Secretary of Foreign Affairs Republic of Latvia is in Nigeria for economic and bilateral talks. The Republic of Latvia is a country of 2.8 million people.
