Governor Bindow’s Vision For The Once Magnificent Yola Fountain
As the name implies, visionary leaders are successful in creating a positive and inspirational vision of the future and conveying that vision in an engaging manner that attracts committed followers.
A visionary leader understands the need for meaning and purpose in followers to achieve more and to build better futures.
Followers feel motivated by the vision and often feel a sense of solidarity within the set up because of the common cause, which is the development of societies.
During an unscheduled visit to this once magnificent fountain on Friday (roundabout close to yola police headquarters) that is now comatose, Gov Jibrilla Bindow had this to say:
“In line with our oath of office and resolve to utilize the state’s resources for the rapid transformation of Adamawa state, we shall soon replace this fountain with an overpass/underpass because I believe roundabouts are no more fashionable”.
He further said that “it is left for the people of Adamawa state to imagine how the state capital will look like in terms of aesthetics”.
