By Bosede Adebayo
Put together by the Nigerian Institution of Advanced Legal Studies, the seven volume performance evaluation of Nigerian Judges from 2008 to 2011 took two years to research and compile. Receiving the publication, Justice Aloma Mariam Mukhtar said it was a timely contribution to the Judicial Council’s efforts to continuously monitor Judges adding while the Council has it’s own way of evaluating it’s Judges, external monitors too can add value to the process.
The Director General of the institute called for a standardization of the processes of evaluation so that more of such contributions can be made.
