Governor Alia Hosts Military Delegation, Vows Tougher Security Measures

The Benue State Government says it will continue to strengthen collaboration with security agencies and community stakeholders through intelligence sharing and coordinated efforts aimed at tackling contemporary security challenges across the state. Governor Hyacinth Alia gave the assurance while hosting a delegation from the Armed Forces Command and Staff College Jaji during a study tour to the state.

The Governor emphasized the importance of synergy between government, security formations, and local communities in addressing insecurity and maintaining peace and stability. According to Governor Alia, strengthening the state’s security architecture through collaboration and intelligence gathering remains critical in combating emerging threats and protecting lives and property.
