World baseball-softball confederation to hold seminar in Nigeria
The Nigeria Baseball and Softball Association (NBSA) says the World Baseball Softball Confederation (WBSC) has concluded arrangements to hold a seminar for coaches and players in the country in Lagos.
Kehinde Laniyan, the NBSA Secretary, told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Wednesday in Lagos that the seminar would hold from Oct. 16 to Oct. 20.
Laniyan said 40 coaches and players picked from across the country would participate in the programme sponsored by the world body.
“The last time we had a programme of this magnitude was six years ago. So, having it this time is a good development for the sport.
“We hope our coaches and players will take advantage of the programme to enhance their skills,” he said.
The scribe added that three WBSC resource persons, from Italy and the U.S., would direct proceedings at the seminar.
He added that NBSA would put every necessary logistics in place to ensure the success of the seminar.(NAN)
