MTN Commissions Science Labs Across the Federation

Global Telecommunications Company MTN has pledged total commitment to ensuring solid foundation for all Nigerian Students at Secondary School level, through the provision of quality education. Executive Secretary, MTN Foundation, Nonny Ugboma restated the company’s commitment at the commissioning of twenty-six Science and Technology Laboratory Projects in six States of the Federation and the FCT.
The Science and Technology laboratory project to beneficiary schools in six states of the Federation and the FCT in line with the MTN Foundation’s Corporate Social Responsibility to ensure that students of these schools have access to the best facilities to enable them perform better. Teachers and Principals of the schools were urged to make good use of the facilities, which was described as a laudable contribution to the development of education. Representatives of the Beneficiary schools across the Federation and the four schools in the FCT, being the Government seconday schools at Kwali, Abaji, Kuje and Gwagwalada said they would not relent to put in their best in their terminal examinations.
The MTN school connect programme is being carried to all states of the Federation.
