Southern Kaduna Representative on Grazing Reserve
Elected Representatives of Southern Kaduna State in the National Assembly have reiterated their support for the federal government as it attempts to find a lasting solution to the incidents of farmers – cattle breeder’s clashes.
They however re-stated their disapproval of any proposal aimed at creating or carving out any land in southern Kaduna as a grazing reserve.
The spokesperson of the group, Representative Shehu Garba who briefed national assembly correspondents, explained that only ranches acquired through negotiations with owners of the land would be acceptable to the people.
Representatives of southern Kaduna state at the national assembly include one senator and five members of the House of Representatives.
