Nollywood couple Stan Nze and Blessing Obasi Nze are celebrating five years of marriage, marking the milestone with a vow renewal and heartfelt messages about love, faith and the life they have built together.
The actors, who got married in September 2021, took a moment to reflect on their journey, with both expressing gratitude for the years they have shared and reaffirming their commitment to one another.
For Stan, the anniversary was an opportunity to remind his wife that, given the chance to make the choice again, he would still choose her.
“If I had to choose again, I would choose you over and over again. I love you forever,” the actor wrote.
His message captures the affection at the centre of their five-year journey, while Blessing’s tribute to her husband focused on gratitude, faith and the joy of continuing life together.
“This is 5!! What a ride,” she wrote. “I have no words other than gratitude to God, our anchor, our rock and our refuge.”
Blessing also described the anniversary video as a reflection of a deeply personal part of her life, saying that waking up beside her husband and continuing to experience life with him remains a dream she does not take for granted.
“This video captures a piece of my heart. Waking up and getting to continue doing life with my whole heart right beside me is a dream; a reality I would forever be grateful for,” she said.
She went on to celebrate Stan for the love he brings into their marriage, describing him as her “king and sweetness” and praising what she called his example of Christlike love.
“To my king and sweetness, you set the bar too high for sweetness and Christlike love. It’s an honour to be called yours,” Blessing wrote.
She ended her message with a declaration of continued commitment: “Cheers to forever… Love you irrevocably!!”
Before becoming husband and wife, Stan and Blessing were already pursuing their individual careers in Nollywood. Both actors had established themselves in the Nigerian film industry, making their relationship a meeting of two people who understood the demands of life in the spotlight.
The couple reportedly kept their relationship relatively private before making their plans to marry public in 2021. They announced their engagement shortly before their wedding, sharing photographs and referring to themselves as “A King and his Queen.”
They held their traditional marriage ceremony in Abia State before their white wedding in Lagos on September 11, 2021. The celebration brought together family, friends and colleagues from the entertainment industry, with musician Timi Dakolo among those who performed at the reception.
Their wedding came as the union of two actors who were building careers in an industry where public attention and demanding schedules are part of everyday life. Since then, the couple have continued to share moments from their marriage while pursuing their respective careers on screen.
