Legendary Canadian singer Celine Dion is preparing to return to the stage after years away from live performance, following significant progress in managing stiff-person syndrome, the rare neurological disorder that forced her to step back from music.

In a new interview with Harper’s Bazaar published on August 18, she shared that Her recovery has involved intensive physical and vocal therapy, medication, immunotherapy and a demanding fitness routine, as she works to regain the strength and control needed for her highly anticipated return.

Celine Dion will make her highly anticipated return to live performance with a 16-date residency at the Plenitude Arena in Paris, beginning on September 12, 2026 and running through October 17. The residency marks her first extended run of concerts in years and has already generated enormous demand from fans.

The Paris shows will give Celine Dion the chance to reconnect with audiences through a full-scale concert production, with the residency later expanding with 10 additional performances in May 2027. Dion has said the return is, in part, a way of giving something back to fans who have continued to support her throughout her absence.
