Media entrepreneur, hype man, and former on-air personality Oladotun Ojuolape Kayode, popularly known as Do2dtun or the “Energy gAD,” described himself as an advocate for both men and women during his appearance on the Morayo Show, where he discussed men’s mental health. Do2dtun highlighted that men often harbor their struggles in silence, rarely opening up about their health or personal challenges. He emphasized that everyone copes with issues differently and pointed out that many people carry unresolved childhood traumas.

Do2dtun encouraged openness, urging people to speak up and not allow themselves to be silenced by others. He also touched on the complexities of seeking help, noting, “Nigerians will donate money to you and use it against you in future,” underscoring the stigma and societal pressures that can discourage honest conversations about mental health.

Do2dtun, who has been a passionate Arsenal fan for 24 years, proudly declared that Arsenal had the best Premier League season during his appearance on the Morayo Show. He noted that, in general, people simply don’t like Arsenal, playfully jabbing at rival club supporters by saying their dislike stems from insecurity. With the Gunners’ recent success, Do2dtun announced a celebratory mood for the audience, reflecting his long-standing loyalty to the club.

Describing his relationship with Arsenal as fundamental and unconditional, Do2dtun recalled the excitement he felt as a teenager, drawn in by the club’s rich history, sense of community, and commitment to giving back. When asked about the state of the Nigerian football league, he emphasized that the footballing authorities need to do more to elevate the game in Nigeria.

He also addressed the challenges facing Nigerians amidst the current economic climate, emphasizing that no one should be singled out when it comes to speaking up about the issues confronting the nation. Do2dtun stressed that since everyone is dealing with similar hardships, individuals should not expect celebrities to speak on their behalf, but rather feel empowered to express their own feelings and concerns

Dotun, after 20 years in radio, has transitioned into the influencer space, bringing his trademark energy to new platforms. During his appearance on the Morayo Show, he wowed the audience by showcasing his hype man skills, reminding everyone why he’s known as the “Energy gAD.”
