Hollywood actor and comedian Jim Carrey has married his longtime girlfriend Min Ah in a small private ceremony in Los Angeles, marking his third marriage.
Jim Carrey and Min Ah have largely kept their relationship away from the public spotlight, although they were first photographed together in Los Angeles in February 2022 while attending a charity comedy show hosted by Judd Apatow.
The couple made their first major public appearance together at the César Awards in Paris in February 2026, where Carrey received an honorary award celebrating his career in cinema.
During his acceptance speech, which he delivered in French, Carrey thanked his family before publicly acknowledging Ah as his “sublime companion” and declaring his love for her.
The marriage is Carrey’s third. He was previously married to Melissa Womer from 1987 to 1995, with whom he shares his daughter, Jane Erin Carrey. He later married his Dumb and Dumber co-star Lauren Holly in 1996, but their marriage ended in divorce the following year.
Carrey has previously spoken about having no plans to marry again, saying in a 2008 interview that he probably would not walk down the aisle for a third time. However, he later left room for the possibility of changing his mind if he met someone who changed his perspective.
Min Ah works privately as an actress and artist. She has kept her personal life out of the spotlight, and there are no public reports or records of her dating other high-profile or famous celebrities before her relationship with Carrey began around 2022.
The actor has maintained a relatively private personal life in recent years and has also spoken about enjoying painting and a quieter lifestyle away from the demands of Hollywood.
