China Launches World’s First AI-Powered Panoramic Carbon Accounting System

On April 8, China unveiled a large-scale model for carbon emissions accounting in Shanghai, marking a major technological advance in global climate governance. As the first “panoramic” system of its kind, it integrates production, consumption, and natural carbon sources, providing a critical foundation for achieving global carbon neutrality goals.
