FG Moves to Restore Connectivity Along Jalingo–Wukari Highway

The Federal Government says it is intensifying efforts to improve road infrastructure across Nigeria in order to enhance connectivity and drive socio-economic development.

The Minister of State for Regional Development, Uba Maigari Ahmadu, stated this while inspecting the ongoing reconstruction of the Namnai Bridge along the Jalingo–Wukari Federal Highway in Taraba State.

According to the minister, the project is critical to restoring smooth transportation, boosting economic activities, and improving movement of goods and services within the region.

The reconstruction follows the collapse of the bridge, which disrupted traffic and affected commercial activities along the major federal highway corridor.
