The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Tajudeen Abbas, has assured the people of Zaria Federal Constituency of more dividends of democracy if re-elected in the 2027 general elections.
Speaker Abbas gave the assurance shortly after his affirmation as the House of Representatives candidate of the All Progressives Congress for Zaria Federal Constituency.
Addressing party supporters and stakeholders, the Speaker expressed appreciation for the confidence reposed in him by the party leadership and constituents, pledging to sustain quality representation and continue executing people-oriented projects across the constituency.
He noted that his legislative efforts and developmental interventions have been focused on improving the welfare of the people through infrastructure development, education support programmes, empowerment initiatives, and youth engagement.
Speaker Abbas further assured constituents that, if given another mandate in 2027, more developmental projects and impactful programmes would be attracted to the area to improve the living conditions of the people.
The Speaker also called for unity and continued support for the APC, stressing the need for collective commitment towards sustaining democratic governance and national development.
Party leaders and supporters at the event described Abbas as a committed representative whose leadership has brought visible progress to the constituency.
