NSCDC Raids Illegal Security Camp in Akwa Ibom, Arrests 39 Suspects

The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps Akwa Ibom State Command has raided an illegal private security training camp operating within the state.

During the operation, 39 suspects were arrested while reportedly undergoing paramilitary-style training in a government-owned facility without authorization.

The raid highlights ongoing efforts by security agencies to clamp down on unauthorized security groups and prevent the misuse of public facilities for illegal operations.

Authorities say investigations are ongoing to determine the full extent of the group’s activities and possible collaborators.
