President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has arrived at the Kenyatta International Convention Centre (KICC) in Nairobi, Kenya, for the official opening ceremony of the Africa-France Summit 2026.

The Nigerian leader was received by senior Kenyan government officials, diplomats, and summit organisers ahead of the high-level gathering focused on strengthening economic cooperation, security partnerships, climate action, technology transfer, and sustainable development between African nations and France.

The summit brings together African Heads of State, policymakers, investors, development partners, and business leaders to discuss critical issues shaping the future of Africa-France relations.

During the summit, President Tinubu is expected to engage in bilateral meetings with world leaders and international stakeholders aimed at attracting investment, deepening trade relations, and promoting Nigeria’s economic reforms and development agenda.

The Africa-France Summit 2026 is also expected to deliberate on peace and security across the continent, youth empowerment, digital innovation, energy transition, and infrastructure development.
