American singer Cassie Ventura has officially relocated outside of the United States with her husband, Alex Fine, and their children. In a legal declaration, she confirmed she no longer resides stateside and has no plans to return, citing ongoing emotional distress and fears of retribution.

Cassie has not disclosed the exact country she moved to, choosing to keep her current residence private to prioritize her family’s safety and well-being. According to a May 1 declaration—connected to an ongoing lawsuit involving male escort Clayton Howard—she stated that while she remains a U.S. citizen, she is no longer a resident of California and intends to stay overseas. Because of her move, she has requested that her California legal proceedings be transferred to New York, noting that New York, where her attorneys are based, is significantly more convenient for her to participate in legal matters.

Reports indicate that Cassie testified in Diddy’s trial that she was terrified of the musician and his associates. Court letters revealed her deep fears that, if acquitted, Diddy would retaliate swiftly against her and others who spoke up.

Cassie Ventura’s lawsuit against Sean “Diddy” Combs stemmed from a decade of severe psychological, physical, and sexual abuse she endured during their relationship. Combs regularly beat, kicked, and dragged her. A pivotal piece of evidence was a 2016 hotel surveillance video capturing Combs brutally assaulting Cassie in a hallway after she attempted to escape him. The evidence and testimonies revealed in Cassie’s 2023 lawsuit triggered a federal investigation into Combs. She later served as a key government witness during his federal sex crimes trial, where a jury ultimately convicted him on charges of transportation to engage in prostitution.
