Local Fashion Brands Shine at ‘Made in Kubwa’ Kings and Queens Fashion Show

The Kubwa community in Abuja came together to celebrate the best of fashion and style at the ‘Made In Kubwa’ showcase, created by the Kings and Queens Fashion Show. This initiative served as a vibrant display of talent, community, and possibilities, highlighting local designers and inspiring creativity within the neighborhood.

According to creative director and lead producer Martins Iyeh, the experience was both challenging and deeply fulfilling. “Every designer brought a unique perspective and story, and our goal was to create a platform where they could be seen, appreciated, and taken seriously,” he shared. Seeing emerging creatives stand confidently alongside established brands was a powerful reminder of why Made in Kubwa exists—to prove that world-class talent can emerge from local communities when given the right platform.
