Troops Rescue 360 Kidnap Victims from Boko Haram Enclave in Major Borno Operation

In a major breakthrough against insurgency in Nigeria’s North-East, troops of Operation Hadin Kai have rescued 360 kidnapped victims from a terrorist enclave in the Mandara Mountains of southern Borno State.

The rescued victims, including men, women, and children, were held captive by a Boko Haram faction after being abducted from several communities, particularly within the Ngoshe axis.

Military authorities described the operation as one of the most significant hostage rescue missions in recent years, following weeks of intelligence gathering, covert surveillance, and coordinated special forces action.
