APC Leadership Speaks on Candidate Selection Process for 2027 Polls

As the deadline for submission of nomination and expression of interest forms closes, the All Progressives Congress (APC) says it is better equipped to consolidate its wide national spread and present stronger candidates for the 2027 general elections.

According to reports by Yusuf Jika, the party’s National Chairman, Nentawe Yilwatda, expressed satisfaction with the ongoing process and the level of support the party continues to enjoy across the country.

The APC leadership believes its internal selection process will help position the party strongly ahead of the upcoming elections, ensuring it fields candidates capable of sustaining its political influence nationwide. Party officials also highlighted growing unity and organizational strength as key factors that could shape their performance in 2027.
