Award-winning Nollywood actress and filmmaker Toyin Abraham has opened up about how success, family and personal growth have transformed the way she approaches her acting career.

Speaking during an interview on The Morayo Show, the actress explained that she has reached a stage in her career where she no longer feels pressured to accept every role that comes her way.

According to Toyin, when she was still building her career, there was often an expectation for actors to take on a wide variety of roles in order to gain recognition and remain competitive in the industry. However, years of experience and professional success have given her the freedom to be more intentional about the projects she chooses.

Toyin described him as one of the greatest blessings in her life, noting that he understands the demands of the acting profession and has always supported her career. She said his confidence in her has enabled her to make decisions based on artistic merit rather than pressure or public expectations.

Reflecting on her personal journey, Toyin also shared how becoming a wife and mother has influenced many of the choices she makes today, both on and off the screen.

She recounted how a conversation with her husband about setting a positive example for their son encouraged her to give up smoking cigarettes. According to the actress, the discussion reminded her that children often learn by observing their parents, reinforcing the importance of living in a way that reflects the values she hopes to pass on.
