Massive Rescue! Security Forces Free 308 Kidnap Victims from Kainji Forest

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has commended security agencies for the successful rescue of 308 abducted Nigerians from Kwara and Niger states following a coordinated intelligence-led operation in the Kainji Lake National Park forest.

The rescued victims include 163 people abducted from Woro Community in Kaiama Local Government Area of Kwara State and 145 others from Niger State.

In a statement by the President’s Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, President Tinubu praised the Armed Forces, the National Counter Terrorism Centre, the Department of State Services, and the Nigeria Police Force for their professionalism and effective collaboration.

He directed security agencies to strengthen early warning systems, improve community intelligence gathering, and enhance rapid response capabilities while reaffirming his administration’s commitment to eliminating security threats and protecting lives across the country.
